As human beings, our greatness lies not so much in being able to remake the world - that is the myth of the atomic age - as in being able to remake ourselves. Mahatma Ghandi

Why Do You Love Me?
(If Iook at you, the way I do)
by Vincent Parisi

Why do you love me?
Now, let's see. What could it be?
Is it because of all the goodies you can get from me.

Especially after married, we will be.
Oh, how unhappy you will be because that's what love should not be.
These are the things that destroy the human beings.

Why do you love me?
Now, let's see. What could it be?
Is it because of the way I smile at thee or all the charm that's in me
that make you think that I am so groovy.
These are the things that make you and me.

Just like Adam and Eve used to be, stripped of all the goodies but,
don't do what she did to me, make me eat the apple from the apple tree.

Love me as a human being.
Stripped of all the goodie how wonderfully happy we will be.
Just like Adam and Eve used to be, without the apple tree - Love Eternally.
