Don't Just Think! Do Something

Why must so many people
Go hungry everyday?
Do they really
Want it that way?
Why can’t we help them
In some way?
We Know! It does not have to
Be this way.
We do have so much today
Just wasting away.
Why must we punish others like us
This way or any other way?
So the children can grow
Strong and healthy today
And do a better job tomorrow
Than we are doing today
And the old, helpless
Going their way.
Where will be one day
When the children of today
Will be where we are today.
“From birth to death
We are what others are
Everyday”
Mr. President, remember the day
When you needed these people
To be where you are today.
Why don’t you help them today?
Who knows?
You may need them again
Someday!!!
